So BB creams were supposed to be this amazing all-in-one Korean thing. Then every brand at Walgreens put one out and as far as I can tell it's tinted moisturizer with a new label and $5 extra on the price.

Has anyone tried a real Korean one? Is it different? Where do you even buy them?

The Korean ones I've tried are much thicker, more like foundation. Skin79 and Missha are the ones everyone talks about. Problem: they come in about two shades. Light and slightly less light.

@Spritecat_99 two shades is two more than I need, I'm basically paper. but I see the problem

Korean BB creams oxidize on me, meaning they go grey or orange after an hour. Test before you buy a full size. I got mine on eBay, they sell sample packs there too.

The marketing drives me mad. "Blemish balm." Balm for blemishes. It's foundation. It's always been foundation.
Team Tifa. Ask me why. Actually don't, it's a long essay.

Ordered a Missha sample set on eBay. Will report back in 3-6 weeks, which is apparently how long it takes from Korea

Missha samples arrived. It's... good? Thicker than I'm used to, better coverage, and I don't look grey. Taking back half of what I said. The American ones are still tinted moisturizer though.
