Sunscreen that doesn't make me look like a ghost? (brown skin)

Every sunscreen I've tried leaves a grey/purple cast on me. I look like I'm about to be in a horror movie. My dermatologist says I should wear it every day and I believe her, but she also has very pale skin and recommended a zinc one that made me look like a mime.

WoC especially, what are you using?

Same problem here. The only one that works for me so far is Neutrogena Ultra Sheer, the dry-touch one. Not perfect, but the cast fades after about 10 minutes.

Look into Japanese sunscreens. Bioré UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence. It's like a gel, totally clear on me. You have to order it on eBay or from a Japanese shop online but it's worth it.

Chemical sunscreens are usually better for no cast than mineral ones (zinc, titanium dioxide). If the label lists avobenzone or octinoxate it's chemical. Check the ingredients before buying.

It came!!! The Bioré one is clear. Totally clear. I put it on, looked in the mirror and nearly cried. Bought three more.
